A Sunrise Wellness Reset at Wylie’s Baths, Sydney
As summer began to soften, we gathered at first light at Wylie’s Baths in Coogee for our BAYTHE Wellness Reset — a morning designed to gently close the season and create space for what’s next.
There is something powerful about beginning before the world fully wakes. The ocean was calm, the air cool, the light slowly stretching across the water. It felt like the right setting for a reset — not loud or dramatic, but intentional.

Sunrise Pilates in Sydney: Moving with Intention
We began with gentle Pilates at sunrise — slow, considered movement to awaken the body and build quiet strength.
The focus wasn’t intensity. It was awareness. Breath guiding movement. Control over momentum. Softness within strength.
Pilates, particularly in an outdoor ocean setting, invites a deeper connection to the body. It encourages stability, alignment and nervous system regulation — all essential foundations for sustainable wellness.
As a Sydney-based Pilates instructor and founder of BAYTHE, creating space for this kind of mindful movement feels deeply aligned with our philosophy.

Supporting Circulation Through Lymphatic Drainage
Following movement, we explored lymphatic activation — gentle techniques designed to support circulation and encourage natural detoxification.
The lymphatic system plays a critical role in immune health, fluid balance and overall vitality, yet it is often overlooked. Unlike the cardiovascular system, it relies on movement and breath to function optimally.
By layering lymphatic support after Pilates, we enhanced flow beneath the surface — creating a sense of lightness and internal clarity.

Breathwork and Nervous System Regulation
As the sun continued to rise, we transitioned into guided breathwork.
Breathwork is one of the most accessible tools for nervous system regulation. Through intentional breathing patterns, we can shift from a heightened stress response into a more balanced parasympathetic state.
In the stillness of Wylie’s Baths, the combination of salt air, rhythmic waves and regulated breath created a profound sense of calm.

Ocean Meditation at Wylie’s Baths, Coogee
We closed the morning with meditation beside the ocean.
Stillness, held by water.
Meditation at sunrise offers a unique quality — clarity without urgency. It allows space to integrate movement, release and breath.
For many, it was a moment to simply pause. To observe. To reconnect.
A Layered Approach to Holistic Wellness
The morning was intentionally structured in layers:
movement, circulation, breath, stillness.
Each element supporting the next.
Together, they created a full-body reset — one that left us feeling lighter, clearer and more connected.
Wellness does not need to be complicated. Often, it is about returning to foundational practices that support the body’s natural rhythms.

Community Wellness
What made the morning truly special was the community who showed up — open, present and willing to begin their day differently.
We are also deeply grateful to our event partners who contributed to the thoughtfully curated gift bags, helping extend the experience beyond the morning itself. Every detail was considered — a reflection of how we believe wellness should feel: refined, supportive and intentional.

Closing Summer, Returning to Self
This sunrise wellness event marked more than the close of summer. It signalled a seasonal transition — into a slower, more grounded rhythm as we move toward autumn.
A reminder that we are always in motion, yet always invited back to ourselves.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Wylie’s Baths.
This is just the beginning of how we plan to continue exploring Pilates, breathwork, lymphatic wellness and community gatherings in Sydney through BAYTHE.
Move with ease. Return to self.
